I do not drink and LOVE being in this bar!!! They have AMAZING food, bartenders (DANA AND KIM) shuttles to the Brewer games (JESS!!) and many other fun events like GLOW Bingo, cribbage tournaments, live music. They have great pay outs on machines and a regular crowd of misfits you can't help but love! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Their weekend brunch is to die for!! It truly feels like Cheers was portrayed where you're always glad you came and everybody knows your name!!!
This place was great - delicious food, fantastic service, and reasonably-priced drinks. If you are going to Wisconsin State Fair, consider making a stop here before or after as they have a convenient shuttle. We tried the bratwurst and fries. Both were especially good - the brat had some fun toppings including a beer cheese and the fries were perfectly crispy and came out so hot. Our bartender was really friendly and helpful, which made for a great experience. The place is very spacious, so it’s great for groups or grabbing a seat at the bar solo or with a few friends.
This place is wonderful to enjoy great food and polite staff. Everyone who works there made you feel like your group was the only one in the place. That is a touch of class that makes this establishment a cut above the rest!
Easter Sunday and one of the few places I found open. I was out for a @WiscoMary Sunday Bloody Mary, and I was not disappointed. Magoo's has their own Tito's infused vodka with jalapenos, their own special Bloody Mary mix, their Worcestershire sauce includes dry rub seasoning. My bloody was served with a cheese curd, before stick, and olive . Connor was an excellent bartender/server. Definitely a great place to watch the game and have their delicious wings. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food.
Had the baked cod dinner , and it's now my favorite fish fry! beer was delicious as well, and our waitress was great. Will definitely return.
Magoos is my favorite lunch time bar on the weekends. Dana is AWESOME and so personable. Not only do her human customs customers adore her but also the dogs. Reuben rolls should be on the menu year round because the chef who makes them makes the BEST corned beef in the entire city. I generally don’t eat meat so that says something. They also have an extensive beer selection.
Magoo’s is absolutely fantastic! Dana and Sam provided top-notch service, making our experience unforgettable. The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. From start to finish, everything was flawless. If you’re looking for great food and amazing service, Magoo’s is the place to go. Huge thanks to Dana and Sam for making our visit so special! Five stars all the way!
